KCC in Hong Kong to host 13th annual Festive Korea
The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong will host the annual cultural event Festive Korea from next month to November.

The Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in Hong Kong on Sept. 6 said it will hold the 13th annual cultural event Festive Korea from next month to November.
Launched in 2011, the festival seeks to raise understanding of Korean culture through content such as musicals, films, exhibitions and K-pop and offer Korea-related events that locals can enjoy.
This year's edition will feature some 40 events in arts, cinema and Hansik (traditional food) at the KCC, Hong Kong Culture Centre and Hong Kong City Hall.
A taekwondo demonstration by Kukkiwon, the Seoul-based headquarters of World Taekwondo, is slated for Sept. 11 and 13 at the KCC, which will also host on Nov. 18 a live concert featuring music from K-dramas. The musical "Vanishing" will run from Oct. 13-14 at Hong Kong City Hall.
Woo Young-sun, director of Woo Young-sun Traditional Food Institute, from Oct. 4 to Nov. 22 will teach Hansik cooking classes at Towngas Cooking Centre.
For lovers of Korean cinema and dramas, movies like "Architecture 101" (2012), "Castaway on the Moon" (2009) and "Two Weddings and a Funeral" (2012) will be screened from Oct. 27 to Nov. 12 at Hong Kong Arts Centre.
The KCC in Hong Kong, in collaboration with the National Hangeul Museum in Seoul, from Nov. 23 to Jan. 27 will hold an art exhibition featuring designs using Hangeul as a motif.
